As I redesign my website to include this blog, I wanted to highlight an opportunity I had to be interviewed for an Australian LGBTQIA Magazine. I don’t see myself as a photographer who has anything to impart, wisdom or technical-wise, but it was fun to self examine a little and look at my career so far, for what it was. A ton of effort, some luck, lots of love and support, and also feeling quite isolated and alone at times. Being asked about myself was a healthy exercise in the end, because I landed here, now, beginning 2024 with a new hunger for experiences and achievements and to practice the photography that I love. To have an eye catching cover they wanted a sample of my photography, the photo of Alexa with the butterflies was too good to pass up.
